When Talent Comes Knocking

It's one of the things I love most about university, you get to surround yourself with people that have such amazing and diverse talents. From those that are brilliant at academics, to the dramatic and musically gifted. Being able to witness my friends using their talents has be such a gift to me. As someone who thinks they can sing, but probably can't, I'm in awe of the courage and perseverance that it takes to display your talents to the critics, yet people do it everyday.

Whether it is a visible thing like art, music or drama or whether it is simply being talented at connecting with people, I pray that we may all realise our talents and never take them for granted, but rather harness them and allow them to flourish.

So because I have some super talented friends I thought I would show them off.

Kay Mosiane: See Facebook link above. If you ever have the chance to hear her sing TAKE IT.

Christo Greyling playing at Scifest in 2012. Apparently this isn't his best performance, but you get the idea.

Check out my friends Sarah and Michelle's band Small Town Moon

My beautiful friends Jane (above) and Ruth (below) performing in their 2012 ballet show. At the end of each year their company puts on a show in the Rhodes University drama theatre
